For a school project we needed to draw a comic of a fairy tale with our own twist on it in no more than eight pages. I chose The Three Little Pigs. Coloured with Prismacolor markers.

END. Now I can talk about it. I wanted to draw the story without the gruesome ending the original has. I knew everyone in my class would probably be going all grim and gritty so I thought I'd go lighter. This was difficult in eight pages though. How do you show the story, but also have the pigs forgive the wolf in such a short time? I hope it isn't too jarring but I was under constraint.
As for the morphing between human and animal, I figured, this isn't real, its art, I can make it do whatever I think it should, and it still looks pretty consistent, you can tell the characters apart. The deciding factor for how they would look panel for panel was basically fueled by whatever was going on in that scene.
My professor saw romantic intent in the last panel between Bennigan and Prudence. I didn't draw that in, I meant that heart for of respect and gratitude. Anything romantic or sexual YOU might read into was all from YOUR brain, not mine!
